LABCORP Putting Patient Safety at Risk

Last edited Fri May 20, 2016, 10:53 PM - Edit history (1)

May 20, 2016 (San Diego) There are allegations that LABCORP, one of our largest clinical labs in San Diego, is putting patient safety at risk. They are also not listening to their employees, who have told them how to solve most of the issue. It comes down to one word: Staffing.

According to Latricia Upole, a former employee of the company, and a phlebotomist, “short staffing is one of the biggest issue at all the LABCORPs. A lot of the sites are very understaffed, which causes very long wait times.” These wait times can be as long as a few hours.

It is not like labor matters, well except to Omaha Steve, but we gotta try

You know, people talk a big game, but... should be fun. And yes, are taking the tactical gear, the boots, the first aid kit and the police scanner... oh and plenty of water.

new cartridges and all that. No, not wearing contacts, even if I had them Fortunately, or not, I have been exposed to this crap in the past.. what was curious was the lack of response from the tough key board commandos.

Stroke out or not, either way it would be a win.. Maybe that is why there were so many in their 70's and 80's at occupy wall street. Nothing to loose and everything to win.

SDPD is expecting it as well. The bats and shields squad (otherwise known as the riot squad) got a refresher. Here is a piece of trivia, the last time they did that was... the GOP National Convention. I could make a joke. But I shan't

Quest Diagnostics. They way under staff the place. I just hope those phlebotomist don't rush and make a mistake--it can be devastating. And I bet those labs are making a ton of money but are just too cheap to hire more people.
