Serious question: Anyone know where I can go online to view full transcripts of Trump speeches at his rallies and appearances? Google search has failed me on this one. (Or I've failed google...) Thanks in advance for any guidance on this.

(1,683 posts)that unless the text of the speech was given to the press, the only things you might find on the innertubz are "sound bites".
The only full text transcript I see is of his "foreign policy speech" in April. (I find it noteworthy that of all the daily geopbytes of news on the primaries, that not a single media outlet actually publishes transcripts of the actual wirds of the candidates. What's that mean? Spoken words don't matter? No reason to parse language?)

(1,941 posts)I didn't have much luck.
There was one that MIGHT be useful, but Norton gave it a questionable reliability - so I didn't open it:
transcript Archives - Donald Trump Polls - Live Poll
www.donaldjtrumppolls.com/tag/transcript
Otherwise it looks like you have to search for specific events.

(7,650 posts)It offered daily updates of all polls favorable to Trump plus the usual InfoWars type political civerage, No transcripts though.
So, it appears at present that, despite our unprecedented low-cost access to massive info dumps online via the magic of the interweb, no-one anywhere feels it might be useful to post actual transcripts of what the candidates are saying in their public speeches. Ponder that.

First rule of op research: read what they publish.

(7,650 posts)Thanks to everyone who responded, but sadly, they ultimately confirmed that, among the billions of bytes of online information, a person simply cannot find a library of Donald Trump's speeches at his rallies. This means that most of what the GOP candidate, and possible future President (sigh), has said in the campaign so far, is simply available to the public. In this day and age, how the fuck can that be? Seriously.
