"I say we just throw Donald Trump down the drain."..Elizabeth Warren...Huffington Post

Elizabeth Warren Has Had It With Donald Trump

“Donald Trump is worried about helping poor little Wall Street? Let me find the world’s smallest violin to play a sad, sad song.”

WASHINGTON — Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), amplifying her her recent attacks on Donald Trump, admonished the presumptive GOP presidential nominee in a no-holds-barred speech on Tuesday, calling him “a small, insecure money-grubber who doesn’t care who gets hurt.”

Warren recounted the story of a Nevada family whose home was foreclosed at the height of the 2008 economic crisis while accepting an award from the Center for Popular Democracy, an economic justice organization. The story served as a segue into an excoriation of comments Trump made before the crisis, hoping the housing market would crash so he could profit from it.

“Donald Trump was drooling over the idea of a housing meltdown because it meant he could buy up a bunch more property on the cheap,” Warren said. “What kind of a man does that? Root for people to get thrown out on the street? Root for people to lose their jobs? Root for people to lose their pensions? Root for two little girls in Clark County, Nevada, to end up living in a van? What kind of a man does that?

“I’ll tell you exactly what kind,” Warren continued. “A man who cares about no one but himself."

Trump is an embarrassment to America making us look like a nation of racist bullies and extremely low class trailer -hotel trash.
This was the inevitable evolution of the republican party..

to her claim to be of Indian ancestry. IIRC, the blood percentage was too low to qualify. I was sorry to see the backlash at the time.

Regardless, it's just another of his childish name-calling.

Given the number of privileged assholes (see tax code) the number of the many who pay the price for them has grown beyond our capacity to buy these assholes yachts, jets, half-a-dozen vacation homes, and to pay for their globally destructive lifestyles and retinues of servants and minions.

It's a special state of mind to live off others, a parasite on one's own species and a danger to the web of life.

Donald, there still is time to drop out of that life and plant a garden this summer. Close your Twitter account, give everything to charity, and start pulling weeds so you can eat.

End our dependence on fossil fuel and going 100% renewable energy.
End our trade agreements making more expensive to make products or provide services out side of America and then bring it back here as it would be to just make it or provide it here at home through tax incentive and tariffs bringing the factories and jobs back home.
Rebuild our infrastructure making the government the employer of last resort.
Medicare for all bringing us single payer universal health care
Increase SS benefits and lower the retirement age.
Free college education
End Citizens United
This is the short list. But we have in power those who only want to enrich themselves and don't care about the well being of the society in which he lives.

Do you realize the devastating effect that accomplishing the first on the American workforce? Then, would you consider the effect doing it would have on the world economy? Then, before all of that ... consider how long it would take to make the switch in a manner that, both, the American workforce and the world economy wouldn't be trashed.

Simple is rarely a smart solution.
