Reboot: Adidas to make shoes in Germany again but using robots
Adidas, the German maker of sportswear and equipment, has announced it will start marketing its first series of shoes manufactured by robots in Germany from 2017.
More than 20 years after Adidas ceased production activities in Germany and moved them to Asia, chief executive Herbert Hainer unveiled to the press the groups new prototype Speedfactory in Ansbach, southern Germany.

(1,166 posts)near future. People should spare a minute or two to think about what the solution is going to be for huge masses of unemployed people who still have to eat. The corporations who finally won't have to pay a dime in human labor costs are unlikely to suddenly get charitable and provide food for redundant human beings.... millions upon millions upon millions of them across the world. Wonder what the global elite's plan for this one is?
