But I've got the nagging feeling that it will roll over and be forgotten by his adoring orcs, just like the dozens of previous 47% moments.

1. So . . . does Trump qualify?

Will he publish his tax returns just so we can all see how great he is? Otherwise, we'll have to conclude that his, uh, portfolio is rather small for a man pretending to his level of greatness.

2. People thrown from their homes because Drumpf took their home, will vote for Drumpf

Yes, they will.

Some of them, anyway.

They will say they wish they could do what he did.

3. This election will not be won by convincing Trump supporters to change their minds.

The people who support Trump have seen it all. They know that he's a smut-mouth. They know that he hates Hispanics and blacks. They know that he has little or no respect for women. They know that he has a very flexible relationship with the truth. They know that he's ignorant about world affairs. They even know that he's got tiny little hands and that he's very self-conscious about it.

They don't care. That's the kind of president that these people want. They think he's cool. They know that he will succeed in doing two things:

1) He will appoint young, right wing screwballs to the Supreme Court, and

2) He will sign a bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act even though there won't be adequate political support to replace it with any other program.

Those are the two things that Trump can and will do if he wins.
