http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/zoe-lofgren-transphobia_us_5746eee4e4b0dacf7ad403ebIve got to say, I found this rather offensive, and it says to me that the witness really doesnt know anything and probably has never met a transgender child who is going through, in almost every case, a very difficult experience finding themselves, Lofgren said.
I think its very regrettable that comment was put into the record, and I think its highly offensive, Lofgren added....
I think youre a bigot, lady, I think you are an ignorant bigot, Lofgren said.

I'm entirely 'pro-entirely-legal-but-embarassing-shadowing-of-bigots.'
And I've got to travel pretty far from where I live in Minnesota to find really solid, in-your-face bigotry to have some... fun... with. Might as well make it more of a road trip...

(39,215 posts)nothing about trans gender.
The closest I come is having seen a child in the University Hospitals who had both the genitalia of a boy and a girl. I also had a cousin in the above group. I have been told that there is a difference.
So is there medical evidence that helps trans people to prove who they are? Do they have a chance in hell getting people to accept them? I have often thought that the two situations might just be a matter of degrees. The baby I saw had physical evidence while the latter group is more of a matter of mental evidence that just has not been accepted as proof.
If I have insulted anyone I am sorry. I had not idea how to ask the question.
