Never forget that M$Greedia, RW hacks and ReTHUGs went after

Rev. Wright for his critique of institutional racism in America. He was 100% correct.

And never forget that the identical posse now welcomes Don the Con's promotion of said institutional racism.

What if there was no need for whatever to even be on someone's radar at the time? Who would they be consenting for then?

Any white male can promote all kind of hatred on radio or TV but Rev Wright representing Black Lives was 'subversive'.
SO you tell me which side - I'd say the side that backs institutional racism

I saw a couple of his sermons on You Tube at the time and I pretty much agreed with him. We need people like that to stand up to the status quo.

Trump was the only non-Tea bagger running on the conservative side. But Trump is a loose canon, without a filter between his brain and his mouth. Not a good fit as our nation's leader.
Hillary, we only know where she stands at the moment, subject to change with the subject. Then there is her private server, co-mingled with SoS and personal E-mails, operated from behind the scenes.
That leaves Bernie, the only reasonably honest politician in decades, with a track record to back him up.
There is still Hope for Change.

Whenever I decide to engage someone on Rev. Jeremiah Wright and his "God DAMN America!" peroration, I ask the other person if they know what Rev. Wright was referring to. The answer, if any, if usually no. Sometimes I get the chance to tell them that he was speaking against slavery. In the context of wealthy people owning, trading, working, and torturing other human beings to death, should a deity bless or damn that behavior?

I don't remember any of the conversations getting beyond that point.
