The email thing would have come up anyway, but, if Warren were the nominee, it would not have affected general.

If Warren actually did run she'll be facing the same crap Sanders is facing now. For pretty much the same reasons. The DNC controlled dems don't want any populist real FDR dems types running this (or any other) year

I yam what I yam...

Is it so hard to understand that Senator Warren feels/thinks/believes she can do much more to fulfill her ambitions as a Senator? Strange as it may seem Senators have more to do with what goes on in this nation than even the President.

The Senator is doing more good for consumers and the middle class right where she is. Certainly, Sanders was a looooooonnnnggg shot from the outset but his own ambitions are limited. If he goes back to the Senate he can still do some good across the board and having run, accepting the Establishment consensus that they have managed to stop his election, he's already brought real Democratic ideals and principles to the fore. That was worthwhile.

A Warren run would open her up to attacks on her personal ambitions and compromise her work for the people. That would be really harmful to all of us.

this is the same reason I'd want him to remain in senate. Warren and Sanders would be a force to keep whatever Commander in Chief in their place.

Surely you knew that.

Some things become a problem only when a woman displays the nerve to run for the highest office in the land.

There have been many posts on DU deriding Clinton for supporting Goldwater when she was a teenager. I don't think we'd have seen those posts if Warren was the one battling her for the nomination. Which suggests that those posts were meritless.

and the vile attacks currently being directed at Hillary would be directed instead at her.

But she refused to run, which means she is loved because she is not seen as "ambitious". (Oh, the horror of an "ambitious" woman!)

There was an article posted here a few days ago, which talked about how much less liked Warren was when she was running for the Senate.
