http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/28/us/politics/donald-trump-campaign.html?smid=tw-nytimes&smtyp=curBISMARCK, N.D. A constant stream of changes and scuffles are unsettling Donald J. Trumps campaign team, including the abrupt dismissal this week of his national political director.
A sense of paranoia is growing among his campaign staff members, including some who have told associates they believe that their Trump Tower offices in New York may be bugged, according to three people briefed on the conversations.

Two months after assurances that the candidate would become more presidential and transition to a more unifying phase of his campaign, Mr. Trump continues to act as if the primary is still underway. His team has struggled to fill top positions, such as communications director, and Mr. Trump has made clear he still sees himself as his own chief adviser.

He certainly does love playing people against each other, but in my experience he knew how to make me reach my potential, said Sam Nunberg, who was fired from the campaign in 2015 after a series of clashes with the campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski. You become very committed in that environment.
But, as was the case with Mr. Wileys dismissal, Mr. Trump is reliant on information he garners himself, and can be swayed by the last person he talked to.

Thinkingabout
(30,058 posts)He is very good at calling people names because he has people cheering him. Not for a moment is he wanting the responsibilities of being president. He gives hate. I am not overlooking voters voting for him, they are, my point is Trump is not serious.

Different Drummer
(7,532 posts)government, but he has validated the feelings of anger among a large part of the electorate and that will carry him a long way. They don't really care that he doesn't seem to have solutions to a lot of issues--he claims to feel the same way they do and that's all they need to hear.

(10,437 posts)he has to have the last word, always...he can't remember what he said 5 minutes ago...and he thinks he is the smartest guy in the room able to pull the wool over every ones eyes.....years and decades of surrounding himself with yes men...and using his money as a battering ram and a club....no time for that to be fixed. The media has given him a free pass because it sells veiwership...and we will watch trump unravel as he is challenged but some media outlets...and by a very strong, intelligent female candidate that CAN'T be bullied or intimidated.
I suspect he will not do debates with hillary...he has nothing to gain

(20,444 posts)He's only in it now so he can personally select the next president: his running mate.
He won't serve the white house staff if he won't listen to his campaign.
The entire thing is a sham, and I wonder how his voters will react when he announces his resignation.
