http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1342664/Boy-8-fighting-life-jumping-boiling-hot-spring-New-Zealand.htmlHow high, extensive, instrusive, and long should the barriers be at this and other places, such as national parks?
Maybe just put all the walking trails inside of unbreakable plexiglass tubes?
When visiting such a sight, is it the park's responsibility to ensure a child won't be killed or injured, or does the parent have to do a bit of parenting?

(268,715 posts)A young lady apologized for not showing up for a scheduled appointment one day. She told me that spent the night before at the hospital with a close friend who was brain dead. She told me her friend walked across a busy road while texting. I told her that I hated to point out that her friend was already brain dead before she was literally brain dead.
I ran into her recently and she said she'll never forget my comment which she thought was cold (it was), but it taught her to leave her phone in her bag.
Some of them tell you they can multi-task.
