Ben Carson thinks America is a cruise ship about to go over the Niagara Falls

Ben Carson had some words of wisdom to share with all of us;

“America right now is like a cruise ship that is about to go off of Niagara Falls with tremendous carnage and death,” the former GOP presidential candidate warned during a Memorial Day appearance on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.”

The retired neurosurgeon’s prescription for a country headed off a cliff? “What you have to do first is recognize the problem, stop the ship, turn it around and then move in the other direction.”

Carson offered a second warning Monday, this one to any and all third party candidates making a bid for the White House in 2016. On the heels of a Libertarian National Convention that yielded perhaps the party’s most formidable presidential ticket ever, the Donald Trump surrogate painted a bleak picture of an election where the Democratic nominee reaps the benefit of a less-than-unified Republican Party.

“I’m hoping that whoever that third party candidate is will stop for a moment and think about what the implications are of allowing Hillary Clinton or someone like her to get in there,” Carson said. “They get two to four Supreme Court picks and completely change the nature of this country and destroy the prospects for their children and their grandchildren to have the same opportunities that they had.”

But there's an easy and obvious solution to the problem: we just need a law restricting which spaceship bathrooms transgender astronauts can use -- and probably the simplest way to get that badly-needed law is to take over a national wildlife refuge, preferably before Obama comes to confiscate everybody's cold dead fingers
