Ben Carson had some
words of wisdom
to share with all of us;
The retired neurosurgeons prescription for a country headed off a cliff? What you have to do first is recognize the problem, stop the ship, turn it around and then move in the other direction.
Carson offered a second warning Monday, this one to any and all third party candidates making a bid for the White House in 2016. On the heels of a Libertarian National Convention that yielded perhaps the partys most formidable presidential ticket ever, the Donald Trump surrogate painted a bleak picture of an election where the Democratic nominee reaps the benefit of a less-than-unified Republican Party.
Im hoping that whoever that third party candidate is will stop for a moment and think about what the implications are of allowing Hillary Clinton or someone like her to get in there, Carson said. They get two to four Supreme Court picks and completely change the nature of this country and destroy the prospects for their children and their grandchildren to have the same opportunities that they had.

(171,717 posts)we need to elect the party that allowed the biggest terrorist attack in American history, started a war based on lies, crashed the economy, drowned a city, left us in a HUGE amount of debt......a party that is misogynist, homophobic, xenophobic, pro-torture, anti-science, anti-worker, etc, in order to to get us going in the "right direction"
Fuck off, Carson

(126,158 posts)But there's an easy and obvious solution to the problem: we just need a law restricting which spaceship bathrooms transgender astronauts can use -- and probably the simplest way to get that badly-needed law is to take over a national wildlife refuge, preferably before Obama comes to confiscate everybody's cold dead fingers

(53,194 posts)The idea, young person, was for the economy to collapse so thoroughly the people who spent all that money to put the last three Republicans in the White House would be able to buy it all up for five cents on the dollar. And I mean ALL of it: everyone's house, all the businesses they didn't already own, and every inch of federal land. But nooooooo...their evil scheme was foiled the first time by a damn Democratic lawyer from a small town in Arkansas, and the second time by another Democratic lawyer from Chicago.
