Rush Limbaugh might get smaller deal amid struggling ratings

http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/rush-limbaugh-smaller-deal-article-1.2232703

"Limbaugh is still the face of syndicated conservative talk radio.

But the ratings for syndicated conservative talk have flattened or dropped for several years, despite the gift of a Democratic President to hammer, and some think the format is wearing down.

“Today’s talk radio is fast fading into the sunset because of a format stuck with 1990s rhetoric,” says Daryl Parks, a former talk host, media blogger and self-described Republican. “A constant right-wing political drumbeat no longer resonates.”

Limbaugh’s original appeal, perhaps ironically, is that he framed his show as entertainment, not a political jackhammer."

We don't hear much about him any more, which suits me just fine.

Hey, Rushbo, that was the invisible hand of the free market.

Live with it.

Bain capital is one of the reasons for their problems. Rush fell victim to the predatory capitslists he loves so much.

and the bitter old white men who loved him most dearly are dying off quickly.

It remains to be seen whether he bows out gracefully or sinks into ignominious obscurity while kicking and screaming all the way.

The smart thing for him to do is retire offshore where he can be a regular at cocktail parties given by has beens for has beens and bore everybody to death telling them what a big shot he used to be.

Nowadays I hear more wing-nuts referencing the RW British YouTuber who goes by the name "Sargon of Akkad" than I do them referencing Rush.
