... I remember thinking that it was old news that Bill Clinton had had an affair. By that point in his presidency, we'd already been through so many (false) stories that I didn't think twice about it. After all, everyone lies about sex, right? Boy, was I wrong!

In a Fall 1994 paper for the Journal of Economics and Finance, economists from the University of North Florida and Auburn University investigated the odds of gaining a hundred-fold return in the cattle futures market during the period in question. Using a model that was stated to give the hypothetical investor the benefit of the doubt, they concluded that the odds of such a return happening were at best 1 in 31 trillion

much like the Bushes have tremendous coincidences spread throughout their careers.....31 trillion to one??? When I look for a Clinton scandal I look for three signs...

Clinton gains money or power.

An associate loses money or their freedom.

An investigation always finds questionable behavior just inches from the illegal line.

If I see 2 out of 3 I figure I've found one.

If you doubt this ask Susan McDougal-wiki

Susan McDougal (born 1955) is one of the few people who served prison time as a result of the Whitewater controversy although fifteen individuals were convicted of various federal charges. Her refusal to answer "three questions" for a grand jury about whether President Bill Clinton lied in his testimony during her Whitewater trial led her to receive a jail sentence of 18 months for contempt of court. This comprised most of the total 22 months she spent in incarceration. McDougal received a full Presidential pardon from outgoing President Clinton in the final hours of his presidency in 2001.
