has been my experience every presidential election since 72. We just need to work harder to get an actual Democrat nominated and to get more new new deal democrats elected down ticket and to get control of the party apparatus.

3. I do believe it is too late - the Third Way has co-opted the Democratic Party.

Down here in Florida, we can see how DWS will support a GOP candidate - and I wonder how many people know that DWS and her buddies at the DNC actually decide who the DNC will support at all levels, not just the presidency. The smug assertion that we need to elect progressives at the lower levels is either naive or disingenuous. The Third Way holds the purse strings and the organization.

There was ugly squabbling between Debbie and the progressive caucus in Florida, because Debbie wants Third Way DINO Patrick Murphy to run for Rubio's seat - giving us two DINO senators, if Murphy won - and the caucus wants Alan Grayson. If Hillary is the nominee, Grayson is the only thing keeping me registered as a Democrat, so I can vote for him in the August primary. How Debbie works with the GOP and influences down-ticket has been noted elsewhere here at DU.

I believe that if Hillary is the nominee, the Democratic Party will become entirely DINO
