Trump will reopen controversial Trump University after litigation ends

U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Thursday said he will reopen the controversial Trump University real estate school at the close of litigation.

"I have instructed my execs to open Trump U (University), so much interest in it! I will be pres (president)," he said in a tweet.

Trump is fighting a lawsuit against the venture that accuses the school of misleading thousands of people who paid up to $35,000 for seminars to learn real estate investment strategies.

He will say anything to deflect the conversation away from the truth. By saying he'll reopen, he's trying to change the narrative that there is nothing to see here, move along. But he won't be able to sweep this one under the rug. The cat is out of the bag and he's going to lose or he's going to settle with the litigants. The Attorney Generals who brought the case feel confident in their case and Trump has already given depositions as well as the instructors who basically laid out the facts on how the scam was run. Trump is just trying to run out the clock.

His business empire is already starting to take hits. With all his antics, fellow investors are getting nervous to get associated with him. Case in point, the PGA tour could not find any sponsors to organize an event at one of his golf courses in Miami. It had been held there for years. This year, however the sponsors chickened out and instead its going to happen in mexico city. Talk about schadenfreude.

Seems to me this little tweet could be used to impeach any testimony by Trump that he just lent his name to the endeavor and didn't have any control over its activities.

Barkeep! Another case of Maalox for the gentlemen representing Trump. Put it on my tab.
