Very funny story about Ali by Chuck Wepner:

I just heard it on Smerconish.
Wepner fought Ali way back. Before the fight he bought a pretty blue nightgown for his wife, telling
her "I want you to wear this tonight because when I come back you'll be sleeping with the heavyweight champion
of the world." After being KOed in the 15th round he returned to his hotel to find his wife in the nightgown,
sitting on the bed. She said, "So am I going to Ali's room or is he coming to mine?"

ETA: Wepner was known as the "Bayonne Bleeder" and was the inspiration for the character "Rocky".
