Yesterday, Paul Ryan endorsed Donald Trump.
Ryan, the Speaker of the House, loves every word ever written by Ayn Rand. And nowhere in Rand's writings is there any room for a Donald Trump, other than that of being a "taker."
Okay, so Paul Ryan is a hypocrite like almost every other politician. I'm shocked.
So let's look at Ryan's real reason for endorsing Trump. He wants to be president. He's hoping that Trump gets crushed this time around and then he can run in 2020, looking like a "sane' candidate.
But here's the thing. What if Trump wins? Evidently, this is something that doesn't come into Ryan's thinking. I guess he has some kind of magic immunity to the danger that a "President Trump" would represent. Is it possible that he never considered that Trump would be one "finger-push" away from the nuclear codes?
Trying to analyze what goes on in the minds of ambitious politicians is impossible. But whatever the hell is going on in Paul Ryan's mind is some kind of sick scenario that involves only himself, and fuck the rest of the world.

So how did that work out?
And who do you think were some of the first to be "eliminated?"

And with Speaker Ryan, the same kind of question needs to be asked: How blind is he to the realities surrounding him? He's a remarkably accomplished man so how can he be so damn dumb?
Cyrano asked the hypothetical question, "What if Trump wins?" I suspect that Speaker Ryan knows that Donald Trump is highly unlikely to be the next president so he probably just wants to be a good Republican and go along with the party and position himself for the 2016 or 2020 elections as Cyrano also suggested.
