This is big news and he was an extremely influencial figure. I'm perfectly fine with them devoting serious coverage to his passing.

and we remember the courageous stand he took. I admired him greatly for standing up for his convictions and not backing down. He was an inspiration to a generation.

I have no problem with honoring a true American hero.

I have no problem with it. First of all, its during a time that their normal programming would be "Lock Up" or "Caught on Camera" and old episodes at that. So the problem is what? Its not like they are interrupting what would have normally been live news.

that Trump's Ali privileges were revoked because of that stupid tweet attacking Obama when he praised Muslims in the SOU and called them sports heroes.
Trump is mentally deranged - he posed for pictures with Ali and didn't know he was a Muslim - how could he not know that?

Both American cable news channels have been same old, same old for the last year. They are not worth watching.
The BBC is a shadow of its former self. CNN has two worthwhile journalists: Amanpour and Zakaria. Rachel Maddow is part of the right wing Clinton machine. It is a vast waste land.
