There is a book that has been at the top of Amazon's best-seller list since a little news aggregator site 1st flogged it yesterday.
I'm sure we all know that conservative groups bulk purchase these things to inflate the numbers and get them listed on NYT Best Seller list then pass them out at their rallies.
And by the end of the month it'll be on the bargain table at Sam's club, Walmart, Costco and whats left of Barnes & Noble
So why do they pre-order from Amazon
*Amazon makes up a higher percentage of the total US ebook market than the oft-cited 65% figure: when indie books without ISBNs are included in the statistics, Amazon accounts for 74% of all US ebook purchases and 71% of all US consumer dollars spent on ebooks.*

(107,141 posts)Just like how churches buy up movie theaters in droves every time an ultra religious movie like "God's Not Dead 2" comes out. Pretty much everything the cons do is artificially inflated to make their numbers look good.

A month later they are on the clearance rack at the Dollar Store.

Within a year they end up in the bargain sections of all bookstores. There are a ton of them. I can't believe how many pieces of shit they print. What a waste of trees.
