Do you think Trump can be contained/maintained/trained????

I don't.

He may never speak about the judge again, but Trump's main reason for having a stage is to brag. He will only discuss ideas, propose solutions, and demand actions in order to puff himself up around these proto-issues.

It's not in his nature in his nature to care more about such issues than about himself. He will not subordinate his sense of his male superiority to matters of the moment. He is his own raison d'etre.

and even if they muzzled him through the campaign with scripted speeches, what happens if he were to reach the WH?

He is dangerous, not because his finger would be on the button, because he uses bigotry and hatred as weapons of political power.

How can his trainers possibly punish him if he steps out of line?

What is there to maintain when he changes his positions constantly and those he doesn't change are toxic?

How can Trump be talked into behaving differently when he attributes his success to himself instead of political climate and luck?

way proceeded the GOP. I've wonder if he has always been quirky, but with age has become totally nuts. (I'm older than he is.)

That speech last night was so obviously not his, but I would think the writer would make some effort to make it sound like Trump.

He cannot and will not stick to a script. He knows best - just ask him!

He'd have to talk about issues and policy. He has no issues or policies. It's not like people are going to forget he's a racist and certainly Hillary isn't going to let them forget so I don't see the upside for him. He won by being a racist sexist *. If he tries not to be that guy he's likely to alienate the voters he has left all to win who? Sure everyone needs to win the independent undecided voter (I.E. really stupid people) but they never break for candidates until September-October. That means Donald has to put on an act for months! Based on that I think its safe to say after a mild period of the new Donald, he will breakout the racist rants again. It is who he is and more importantly what got him the nomination.

If he hasn't mastered some modicum of decent human behavior by the age of 70, inhabiting the Oval Office, or capturing the GOP nomination will have precisely zero influence on his non-existent impulse control and shouty ass-hattery.

He's a shit-stained, infantile force of human nature.

Besides, bluster and bombast have gotten him this far in life, one step away from the presidency. He's suddenly going to sit down and listen to some political adviser tell him how to act? If the adviser's so great, why isn't he running for president?

Did you see him trying to use a teleprompter? The dumb asshole has made fun of a skill he can't master!!!

He was, if possible, even worse than the unhinged trump. And it is an ad that writes itself. Have him making fun of Obama using a teleprompter while giving the speech of his life and then show trump trying to do the same and looking like a, well like he looked last night..

I am a very good public speaker when speaking about a subject I know well and using bullet points. But it takes a sharper mind than mine to use a teleprompter. That is the irony of beating up someone for using one. Using one of those things is an indicator of a sharp mind. The few time I tried to use one it was infuriating. And I am not a politician...I am in Agriculture!!

Apparently he has always bulldozed, bullied, and lied his way through life with positive results (i.e., getting his own way). I don't think he has ever been sorry, or would ever admit he's wrong, in a million years. I just don't think he's geared that way. He'll go to his grave a selfish, self-centered, loud-mouthed, racist, misogynistic boor

If ever there was a face in need of a punch, his is at the top of the list!!
