IF the Republicans dump Trump, who is the best, "easiest to beat" potential replacement?

By "the "easiest to beat" potential replacement" I mean a name you've already heard floated in the last few months.

HuffPo homepage is screaming in all caps "HEWITT WARNS RNC: DROP TRUMP... OR ELSE!"

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/

Who would you most like to see in that spot if they actually dumped him?

Ryan may be damaged goods after his flip-flopping on the endorsement, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't attempt it anyway.

The base loves him and the leadership will back him, regardless of what they say. They have chosen their Id and are orgasmic with delight.

Option 1: they keep him and no one but the crazies and zealots vote for him.

Option 2: they dump him and upset the crazies and zealots who put them in this position, and those in the Republican Party who value the democratic process as (or at least their own access to the democratic process,) and all those people refuse to vote for his replacement.

He's been running presidential type ads. I really do think the GOP will find a way to get rid of Trump. Maybe he'll get sick or finally release his tax returns and be revealed as the fake he is.
