Bank Workers to Brief Congress On Outrageous Sales Goals at Big Banks
Key Demand from Bank Workers: Hold Big Banks Accountable and Expand Consumer Protections
WHO: Congressman Keith Ellison, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, bank workers and former bank workers from Wells Fargo, TD Bank, Chase Bank, and US Bank.
WHAT: For the first time, bank workers and former bank workers from the nations biggest banks will testify at a congressional hearing about the aggressive and unreasonable sales goals that are forcing bank workers to push unnecessary products on their customers.
Aggressive and predatory sales metrics hurt customers as well as employees, and bank workers are determined to fight against them. Workers will demand increased oversight and regulatory reform while enhancing full transparency on the products being pushed by banks.
