Just to set the record straight for Rand Paul

At the CPAC gathering in Chicago, he said:

"And it would be a great honor to be considered as a vice president for the Republican Party. I think that would be something that anybody who said otherwise would not be being truthful."

For the public record: I am truthfully saying otherwise. Really.

Not only would I NOT be honored to be considered for the Republican VP nomination, I would be insulted, horrified, and very much disgusted to be considered to considered for the Republican nomination for ANYTHING. I do not consider myself greedy, hateful, paranoid or superior to my fellow humans, and therefore would like very much for it to be clear that it would be a dishonor to me to ever be considered to be a Republican.

I'd have to unlearn everything I learned about English grammar. Too much effort at my age!

In fact, I only really ever had one groupie. She is tall, blonde, and still with me after meeting me in a cabaret in West Berlin some 38 years ago. Needless to say, she is also somewhat nearsighted..........

Can you imagine if they had a nominee for vice president who openly opposed all their policies?
