Son Plants A Hidden Camera At Motherís Nursing Home

Worried Son Plants A Hidden Camera At Motherís Nursing Home. What He Captures is HORRIFYING!

When Camille found bruises all over her motherís body, he decided to plant a hidden camera in her room at Saint Joseph nursing home.
Camilleís mother suffers from Alzheimerís and didnít remember what happened to her which made him doubt other residents at the nursing home.
To make sure his mother was safe, he set up the camera and what it captured will make you sick to your stomach.
Camille discovered that it was not only the residents but also staff/caretakers who were abusing his mom.
The video shows how terribly the poor mother was treated there. These people are savage and should be punished!
What do you say?

1. Criminal and civil charges need to be filed against both the people who did this and the facility

3. I assume with a name like St. Joesph, they are affiliated with the Catholic Church, and I would

expect they should also be doing something about this

4. That lady is SCUM!

She deserves a very long prison term, and I hope she gets one. What kind of evil bitch does something like that? Karma is going to be so "not good" to this person!

5. Nursing homes are minimum-security prisons with better landscaping

Close them down and move the residents back into the community. Not only won't there be atrocities like this, but it's cheaper.

8. You are right

I am only half joking when I tell my friends that I did something when I lived "on the outside." I live in assisted living and so far the only abuse I've gotten is verbal, but they know if any of them touched me I have several friends who would get them shut down.

PS. regarding putting residents into the community, I tried to get an apartment when my insurance company told me I could move out of the nursing home. But I have no family here, and the ins co more or less forced me to come here. They threatened to shut down my Medicaid if I went into senior/handicapped apartments.
It's a real racket.

12. Get thee to thy local independent living center

Find it here:

Your state also has a long-term care ombudsman who is equipped to deal with the ins. co. racket.

7. That's pretty awful. It never happened to

any of my family members (at least that I'm aware of, we don't stay in touch). However, it has happened to other people that I know.

11. Horrible and Criminal... However...

As a nurse I have worked in nursing facilities, both rich and poor, and though I have experienced (and punished) poor patient care, I have experienced much more of the opposite: Staff treating patients like family, often providing out of their own pockets, clothing, treats, presents on birthdays and holidays, and care and love that absent family members don't; we called them Christmas families... sons and daughters and others that only showed up on Christmas Day and then only to criticize everything they saw.

I hate the abuse stories more than most, but sometimes the other side of the picture needs to be shown.
