AR 15 and it's devastating effects....

and the fact it was purchased legally and with ease, by a nut who worked for a security company which contacted for the Feds, (strong background checks) and who was being monitored by the FBI?

IMO... Most Important Facts concerning this horrible event.

Great point. While my familiarity with the legendary AK-47 likely pales in comparison to yours, it seems as if there are many weapons that are capable of firing a single shot, as was the case in the example you provided.

In response to a poster's comment that said (referencing the shooters AR-15), in effect, sometimes you need the firepower like that.

So in the example that you provided, of the teen defending his home with a single shot from an AK-47, is that the only gun that would have provided his security ? Or is it just a convenient coincidence and any gun would have done the job ?

As little as a speeding ticket should disqualify them.

Do you realize that a speeding ticket is not even a criminal offense?

In what way is a speeding ticket indicative of being a danger with a gun?

It's stuff like this which guarantees the second ammendment and gun ownership will never go away. Gun grabbers are physically incapable of supressing their totalitarian views on control. We hear "reasonable, reasonable, reasonable " all day long, but a shooting hits the news and the grabbers show their inner orwell. God bless their self defeating fervour.

Nobody's trusts you guys anymore.

How many of them do you think wished they had the means to fight back effectively, rather than be slaughtered?

I felt sick even writing that. How you do it is beyond me.
