1. Hatred, religious fanaticism, and bigotry must be frowned upon

Make--and keep--fundamentalists social pariahs. Push them back into their remote backwater towns.

Make and keep avowed bigots social pariahs. This includes white supremacists, anti-government nuts, CT loonies, and groups organized against women's and minority rights.

Their radical intolerance is not welcome in our society. Society needs to treat such people the way they've treated women and minorities for eons.

There is no legal way to control this kind of hate, but there is social control. We have to make religious fundamentalism socially unacceptable. This way, we can keep the nut jobs on the fringes of society where they belong. Question is, how do we ostracize privileged fanatics? See to it that they never get in positions of authority? We have our work cut out for us.
