The challenge is not to blame an entire group for the act of an individual.

The vast majority of gun owners are responsible, but every time there's a tragedy like this, the call goes out to "ban all guns".

(I almost had it but couldn't bring myself to leave out "some" as you did.)

They hate LBGT persons.
Jews
Muslims
Other Christians who disagree with their interpretation of the Bible.
Dark skinned people, especially blacks and "Mexicans".

Can they live in a liberal society ?

Europe is lucky, they don't seem to have this variant of hatred as bad as we do. Well, not since we kicked Hitler's ass in WW II, anyway.

I'm sure most US Christians are normal but how can you tell the difference ? *

* well, one way might be the confederate flag in the window or the tailgate. But not all of them are violent about their hate.

Look, I'm not excusing Christianity where warranted. But I think it's intellectually bankrupt when so many people work to excuse Islamic radicalism because it doesn't fit their preferred narrative.

They refuse to acknowledge acts of terror carried out by followers of radical Christianity (because it's their own people who are carrying out those acts).

That's my opinion. I support destruction of those manifestations of Islam. I do not support destruction of or banning of Islam.

I do not support the US welcoming people who support imposition of Islamic law, which includes execution of people for being homosexual. I do not support the US having warm relations with governments that execute homosexuals simply for being homosexual.

If it were up to me we would:

Close all Saudi-funded Wahhabi mosques in the US

Stop giving foreign Wahhabi clerics visas to come to the US.

This would be the minimum we should do to protect our citizens from Wahhabi 'Kill The Infidel' religion, imho.

Of course, as long as our government kow-tows to the Saudis, no action will be taken.

The holy wars..the inquisition. ..crusades.
Not a fan of any organized religion.
One thing I notice is that they all go thru a civil war internally. A moderates vs the fundamentalist type thing. Eventually the moderate voice of Islam will prevail. Sucks to be us having to be involved with their process. JMHO
