...for this round of terror? I felt like there were a lot more "Je suis Charlie" and French/Belgian flags from those terror events. Now a lot of those people are carrying on with Facebook like it is just a normal Sunday when their own countrymen (who happen to mostly be gay) are slaughtered wholesale.
Maybe it is just me...are other people seeing a strong campaign on FB with people changing their profiles to rainbow flags and standing with the lGBT community in solidarity the way peopke did for terror in Europe?

(11,253 posts)Not right for me to only recognize western pain and ignore Nigerian villages that get completely slaughtered. However, I was noticing different behavior from people who do have a history of changing their profile pics etc. on DU, I only use my iPhone, so I never see avatars here anyway. Not even sure what avatar I am showing.

been busy all day and evening--didn't find out about this until 11pm sunday night
