Wal-Mart releasing its own craft beer line.

Wally world is selling its own line of craft beers made by Trouble Brewery;

It should come as no surprise that one of the biggest retailers on the planet is getting into one of the most popular trends in the consumer market. Craft beer has stormed its way to the forefront of American alcohol favorability, much to the delight of the many small brewers that scatter the nation. Now, Walmart has decided it wants a piece of that action.

Their push to plant themselves in the market of these unique adult beverages is not the first time the supergiant has attempted to sell their own brand of alcohol. They have sold their own brands of spirits for over 10 years, and you can get their spirits in any of 39 states. Now that they plan to showcase their selection of adult beverages more prominently than ever before, it will hard to miss their brand of craft beer. They’ve partnered with Trouble Brewery to produce their line of beers, which includes Red Flag Amber, ‘Round Midnight Belgian White, Cat’s Away IPA, and After Party Pale Ale. You can find these beers in roughly half of all Walmart stores, and a 12-pack will only cost you $13. That’s a pretty good deal for those who enjoy high-end beer and expect to pay almost twice as much.

You really think Walmart would allow the brewery to actually spend the money to put the proper amount of ingredients in the brew to give in flavor?

Great Value Charddonay? Here in PA you can't buy beer in the grocery store but a law was just passed allowing wine to be sold at the supermarket (previously available at State Liquor Stores only). That's going to be a culture shock here.

...which based on the taste would more accurately be described as Sam's Choice Urine.

I didn't know what it was. I even knew that it could have been a faux craft beer. I should have Googled it to know who the actual owner was or checked the reviews. Normally I do that before I just blindly buy beer. I bought a 12 park variety pack. As I type this I'm drinking the IPA. It's so plain and bitter. I love IPAs but this is just so generic. I didn't know it was owned by Walmart until reading this just now. It all makes since now. It really is not great beer. By no means is it awful but I'm really regretting not spending the extra and getting the trusted New Belgium.
