(22,990 posts)3. That follows his similarly horrible FB post after the Paris attacks
Celebrating Diversity, One massacre at a time, the Facebook posting states over a photo of the Bataclan theater, where dozens were killed in a terrorist attack on Friday. Coming soon to a concert hall near you.
Tancredo, a former Republican who has long fought for tougher immigration standards, said he was glad to start a conversation about the risks of allowing Syrian refugees into the United States.
Im referring to the fact that this tragedy (in Paris), this horror, is something you cannot contain to one country if you dont do something meaningful about immigration a subject Ive been involved in for some time these are the kinds of things that result when you dont protect your citizens, he told The Denver Post.
He said he had the idea and asked a friend of his, whom he declined to name, to create the meme. The picture inside the Bataclan theatre in Paris first ran in the Daily Mail, a British tabloid, with the bodies blurred out.
