that isn't checked because of Congress not passing a bill that requires one to check said list

6. He was for a bit but the FBI cleared him. He wasn't on the terror watch list anymore

domestic violence wasn't known to the gun dealer? Wife beater and on the terror watch list to boot.

Nobody could have seen it coming <sarc>.

But, as an American, his 2A rights trumps common sense and safety.
