He's been all in on the need to be irrationally afraid of Muslims, right?

Now, in the wake of Orlando, we are seeing a fair share of Muslim baiting on the left, around the net and right here at DU. It's been mostly subtle and dog whistle-y, but not all of it.

Tell me, how much louder and less subtle do you think those voices would be if we didn't have the shameful example of Trump braying in the same vein?

I used the term Muslim baiting, not Muslim bashing, which is similar, but at least to me has different connotations.

It's the difference between an outright racial slur and a *nudge nudge* *wink wink*, I suppose...

Secondly, if you haven't seen the posts attacking Islam generally as opposed to just "Fundie Terrorist bashing" as you so eloquently put it, well, I guess you haven't been paying attention?
