President Obama did not pull any punches in today's press conference. He went to the heart of the GOP and Trump's statements about defining the enemy with the radical Islam moniker.

1. He did not "explode." That's a gross mischaracterization

that makes it sound like he lost control, which he did not. He was very firm; his statements were absolutely perfect; but he did not explode.

That was far more forceful and even agitated than probably 97% of his speeches.

I don't think it means a loss of control, though maybe 'unload' or 'uncork' would be better.

Compared to his normal demeanor, that was a bit explosive.

We now see the advantage of being so calmed and reasoned pretty much all the time. To get attention and raise eyebrows you do not have to throw a fit and go over the top. Just show a little emotion.


He did not explode. The kraken has been released. He, Hillary, Biden and soon Bernie are going to bring down a shit ton of hurt in the next 3 months. We have a chance of an historic election.
