Are we so stupid as a society that we can't focus on more than one thing at a time?

Orlando was probably about terrorism and homophobia, but to me mainly about guns!
You can be as anti American or homophobic as you want but with out guns, there is little or no loss of life.

The next time I hear of some repuke asshat say it wasn't about guns, it was about terrorism I
want to throw up

Come on folks, are we that stupid that we can't focus on more than one problem at a time?

Or is it just an excuse to not admit one of the problems while they are kissing the ass of the NRA?

In spite of my sarcasm, I'm optimistic about this year's elections. It feels like Democrats have opportunities all over the electoral map. If they're smart, they should do well.

And as always, I'll vote a straight Democratic ticket.

In our defense, I have to point out that we are being constantly bombarded with bullshit, which can make it difficult to find the important stuff.

I think it was about a person struggling with being who they really are and not being able to come to terms with it. The guy was gay, but his family and his religion are strictly against that. His struggle with his beliefs and familial pressures pushed him past the edge.
