The restoration was just beginning. Funny, the modern restoration looks to be taking longer than the original construction.

19. I wouldn't have entered this...

because I didn't take it. It was taken by a friend's THREE-year-old son! It is poignant for me because a year or so after it was taken the boy died from complications with the flu. I use it as my background. I think it is one of the most beautiful pix I've ever seen.
