Video from SPU shooting shows hero stopping shooter and motivation of hatred

from shooter's interrogation.

This newly released video is from the 2014 shooting at Seattle Pacific University.

Two points particularly struck me: that Meis was able to confront the shooter because he had to stop to reload and how clearly the motive was hatred. There's no doubt that Meis halted what would have been an even more tragic event that day.

In March 2015, The Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation selected Jon Meis as one of three 2015 Citizen Honors Program honorees for disarming and subduing Ybarra.

3. Thanks uppityperson. He certainly is brave.

I'm glad you found the short clip to add here.

Here's another try at the King 5 clip which has more extensive info.

It loads oddly for me, first starting, then hiccuping, waiting a bit and showing an ad, then showing the report. Worth watching if it will work.
