(65,616 posts)stupid to a level I would not have thought of. I bet he pays people to stand out in the crowd and egg on the idiots that show up to support him.

(34,648 posts)I predict mad drama at the Republican convention. He's already pissing off the entirety of the RNC. I bet their convention dwarfs ours in ratings... And not because it's awesomesauce, but for the blood.,

(22,035 posts)Wouldn't it be fascinating to hear the voices in his head? It must be a cacophony of ego, anger and hatred. Yet I'd love to know what he thinks he's doing with his campaign and how he thinks it's going to play out.
As for the Republican Convention, I can't wait to watch it, probably on C-Span as they'll cover it gavel to gavel. The fractured GOP could give us an epic show. In 2012, I watched much of the Democratic Convention on C-Span and some of the best speeches were never seen on broadcast or other cable news channels. My favorite moment was the speech given by former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm. She unexpectedly fired-up the crowd with this brilliant comparison of President Obama and Mitt Romney:
Governor Granholm is working with the Clinton Campaign and I hope she'll speak again this year.

(58,648 posts)Repub unfavorables among minority groups has never been all that good. In the past, though, voter turnout has not been high among those groups. Pres Obama brought them out. Hopefully, Trump's general assholiness with motivate these groups to come out and vote against him, and his fellow Repubs.
