has him comfortable with the idea of Warren as V.P. The governor would have to call a special election to fill her seat.

And there's a Kennedy who is a member of the House and won with more than 60% of the vote.


So I think Warren has a real shot at this.

It takes a very special type of candidate to lose two statewide elections in Massachusetts to very beatable Republican opponents, but if anyone can, Coakley can. If that seat were to be lost, it would almost certainly be because the state party had found a way to nominate her again.
