Were very passionate about Hillary, [but] perhaps less outspoken about it, said Keith Drucker, 21, a rising senior at Boston University who volunteered for Clinton in New Hampshire. And maybe that is a characteristic that more Bernie supporters have, that theyre a little bit louder, and a little bit more in your face.

Else You Are Mad
(3,040 posts)That many millennials, as per this, that support Hillary are ashamed and quiet about being for Hillary. That speaks volumes...

It is that fact that speaks volumes.
And it is not only millennials who have had this very bad experience.

(18,402 posts)Hillary Supporters Can Now Go Public on Facebook
They have names like Wise Women for Clinton, Cool People for Hillary, Bros 4 Hillary #GiveEmHill and one that rhymes with witch.
Some are small, with just a couple of hundred members, while others number into the thousands. All of them began as a secret or, as secret as one can be with an invite-only Facebook group.

Its like a secret society, said Ashley Kreamer, 37, a film editor in Brooklyn, who is a member of two such groups on Facebook. A secret society of Hillary Clinton supporters.
For most of 2016, to be a vocal supporter of Mrs. Clinton in certain circles of Bernie Sanders-supporting progressives, anyway was to be the square in the Lacoste shirt cast to the corner of the hipster prom.

(765 posts)Generation Z. All young people are not "millenials." Gen Z is generally considered to be about 19 years old now. Some researchers consider the oldest Gen Z to be 23-24.
I did enjoy reading that younger people are feeling more comfortable about expressing their support for Hillary. Gen Z is much more feminist-oriented, and they embrace the "feminist" label, whereas that millenials tend to run from it.
