Bid to move Forrest monument back on docket (TN)

... momentum is picking back up .. with the city of Memphis seeking a waiver to remove the statue. This waiver will be subject to a June 24 vote of the Tennessee Historical Commission (a group that refused to put its name on the Memphis Massacre marker, we’ll note). Court approval will be needed to relocate the remains of Forrest and his wife, who are entombed within the monument.
