So.. The Dutch are buying Cablevision

(and Newsday, and Optimum)

Altice NV is purchasing one of the very biggest and most ubiquitous media outlets in the NY Metro area. Aside from the fact that it is owned and was founded by a French billionaire, I don't know anything about the company..

I used to work for cablevision years ago as a master control operator.

it. sucked. for a variety of reasons but mostly because how the dolan's treated the employees.

a year after I left they were voted the worst ceo's in america.

anything is better than them.
