http://www.cracked.com/personal-experiences-2114-inside-scientologys-secret-drug-rehab-center.html- They are an outlet of Scientology.
- Instead of treating your drug-ravaged body with medicine, they give you minerals and vinegar for detox. Oh, and possibly lethal overdoses of Niacin. And possibly lethal stays in the sauna.
Yes. People have died there, some had symptoms of Niacin-poisoning. And the staff has zero medical training.
- From day one, they start playing mind-games and pull you into the esoteric Scientology-stuff.
- They try to break you with ridiculous psychological exercises.
- One patient told the staff that he had recently attempted suicide. The staff laughed it off.
- They are trying to recruit new staff right from the patients because the working-conditions are so bad that workers constantly leave.
- They really, really want you to stay and repeatedly tell you that your life depends on staying and completing the program.
Except when you run out of money or your insurance no longer covers the treatment.
Then they give you 1 hour to leave the premises. Literally 1 hour.
Luckily, Jeffrey wasn't so easily recruited. "I started hearing about Captain Xenu and begged to leave," he says. They didn't exactly hold him hostage, which is sincerely surprising at this point, but they did impress upon him that he needed to finish by making him feel like his life literally depended on the program. "So I stuck it out, and about two weeks later, my insurance cut out," he says.
Narconon charges around $23,000 for a three-month stay, so the people who were so concerned about his well being yesterday suddenly couldn't wait to put him on the street. OK, that's not fair: They decided they could wait an entire hour.
"They gave me one hour to figure out a way to leave, despite me asking to leave days before," Jeffrey says. "Luckily, someone there had money and bought me a ticket home."

I've been telling everyone the same thing for years. This is fertile recruiting ground for the scientologists.
