by Robert Reich: 'A coalition of delegates to the Republican National convention

a last-ditch effort to dump Trump -- pushing for a rule to unbind delegates and allow them to vote their “moral conscience.” In related moves that some are interpreting as signs of support, House Speaker Paul Ryan (in a “Meet the Press” interview airing Sunday) urges Republicans not to act “contrary to their conscience," and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus yesterday announced the Rules Committee would be chaired by RNC vice chairwoman Enid Mickelsen and former George W. Bush political director Ron Kaufman (neither of them Trump supporters).

The political Party whose members talk endlessly about private morality (abortion, gay marriage, religious expression) is now approaching the biggest test of public morality it has ever faced. Will it pass?'

If these guys manage to pull off a coup and dump Trump, no matter who thy put in his place will also lose big time! The Trumpsters I know will be so very ticked off, they will either vote for Hillary & the other Dems down ticket as a payback, or they will stay home I wouldn't be at all surprised if they resign from the pubbie party, NEVER to return.

I can't think of another candidate EVER who was more unqualified than the Trumpster, but to have the party leaders throw their members to the sharks is the worst thing I can imagine. They will never forgive them.
