House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Donald Trump will help Democrats win more seats in Congress and the White House in November."I think we could, today, win everything. Bless his heart. Donald Trump is the gift that keeps giving to us," Pelosi said in a radio interview with John Catsimatidis on "The Cats Roundtable" on New York's AM 970.
"He has helped us enormously," she said of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.
"I think we can win it all."

(2,603 posts)They need the WH, but they need the R's to stay in control of Congress. That's how they get the wage killing trade agreements through. That's how they pillage SS. That's how they fire up the grossly profitable wars.
They have us right where they want us. A guaranteed war hawk, corporate loving, welfare cutting POTUS and the same people controlling what gets sent to her desk.

(108,973 posts)with the Dems when he felt like it. And because of him, the Senate wasn't able to pass the ACA with a public option.
And that whole period of time lasted just a few months. When Ted Kennedy died and was replaced by Scott Brown, that was the end.

The Cook partisan voting index ranks the 435 Congressional districts according to percent advantage for either party, e.g., R+5 or D+10 relative to presidential preference. The map above shows highlighted in yellow the 55 districts currently held by a Republican but with less than an R+5 advantage, arguably the lowest hanging fruit within striking distance in a wave election that Trump might bring.
A 55-vote swing would put Congress in Democratic control.
Below are some detail maps of the districts. ...........
