The economy of Cleveland is going to be infused with a lot of money and TV time.

not to mention the odious thought of hosting a bitter convention that probably elects Trump.

celebrate your victory, Person 2713.

I'm from Cleveland, by the way. I remember Mayors Perk and Kucinich, Euclid Beach Park and Ghoulardi. Very happy for the BB championship. Just wish the RNC was in Pittsburgh or Detroit.

5. Why should the city of Cleveland bear any blame

for Donald Trump ... or the Republicans, for that matter. Cleveland can use the revenues that will come from hotels and restaurants and taxi services, etc. generated by a large influx of visitors. They do not endorse the Republican Party by allowing it to hold its convention there, just as any city that hosts a convention does not.

I was kind of rooting for Golden State ... until the end, of course. I'm ecstatic for Cleveland!

far before Trump was the nominee, probably before he was a declared candidate. These things are scheduled far in advance.

Meanwhile, I keep reading stories of major advertisers backing out. The Repub party might lose some money on this, not to say that as a bad thing.

I am so happy King James won the tittle for Cleveland. Now sports talk radio will have to talk about sports instead of some superstitious curse or something
