Trump's kids did an intervention with their father.

I find that news VERY troubling. Some have averred Trump is in early Alzheimer or some other form of dementia. If he does, his children almost certainly know it. And it was them who tossed Lewendowsky. Trump has long been tete a tete with Corey, much to his detriment. Is it that Trump needs a guide and the only guide he trusted was Lewendowsky?

Really serious about any of this election stuff. They have no organization, aren't spending any money and have just fired the campaign manager. This whole thing is a lark that went too far and now they don't know what to do.

and now nobody knows what to do. I honestly think there will be a flameout before the convention, real or staged. While the presidency is an attractive bauble to add to one's collection, it does come with a job to do. I don't think he ever wanted the job, just the title, but things started to get too real for more realistic people around him.

I sincerely doubt even Manafort is going to be able to deodorize him at this point.

For all his blather, the simple truth is that he has never been able to run a business or do a job properly. HJe cuts a deal, borrows money, and leaves creditors hanging out to dry while grabbing what cash he can.

Never. Cashing out on bankruptcy is a bottomfish, not a businessman.

Although in his fevered brain he might actually think he did a good job while destroying Alexander's, The Plaza Hotel, the Eastern Shuttle, a pile of casinos, and a whole football league, among other things, he's just proven himself to be one of the world's worst managers.

And the thought that he could actually sit down and take the job of President seriously is beyond belief.

Yup, a fun time for all gone too far.

Trump has a real problem with impulse control. He seems to have really regressed in the last decade. I hope the media doesn't allow Trump's kids to speak for him. People might get the impression that Trump is sane, if he's allowed to hide behind his kids.

FYI, as I was typing this, Mark Halperin was interviewing Trump's son on MSNBC. The commercial they aired during the first break was an ad for the The Alzheimer's Association – how to recognize the warning signs of Alzheimer's.

I think they're trying to tell us something...

that it's disabling. He literally cannot see the reality of any point of view except his own. His perceptions are unbelievably limited, due to his personality disorder rather than his I.Q.

He is 100% right no matter what he does. Anyone who disagrees (or doesn't pretend to) is a bug to be squashed.

Sarah Palin talked just like him and I recall no one suggesting she had Alzheimers.

The good thing about this is that what is perceived as a flaw in Hillary -- her very strong self-control -- equips her very well to deal with him.

http://www.narcissisticabuse.com/talking-with-a-narcissist/

Communication with and talking to a narcissist so you don’t fall apart is both art and skill. From their word salad to the verbal put-downs and constant verbal manipulations you have a moving target to deal with. Take a deep breath, get yourself in emotional control. do positive and realistic self talk such as, “It would be great if the words from his mouth were sweet and calm, but they aren’t and I am not going to make them worse.”

The more in control you are of yourself the less he or she can control, annoy or enrage you through his or her words. Be direct when you need be and calm. No need to speak in anger or attempt domination. If you understand you are with someone who mirrors normal language patterns and repeats what he hears from those he respects you will be better able to keep control of the conversation. When that happens you don’t feel anxious and you can end the conversation on your terms, not his.
