Sweet justice: Anti-gay Pastor who celebrated Orlando shootings is getting booted from his building

Baptist pastor Roger Jimenez of the California-based Verity Baptist Church drew widespread condemnation when he praised Omar Mateen’s terror attack on a gay Orlando nightclub — and now he’s getting some much-deserved comeuppance.

Local news station WMAZ 13 reports that Harsch Investment Properties, the company that owns the building where Jimenez’s church now resides, says that it will not renew the church’s lease and is even asking Jimenez to consider moving immediately.

“We have many places of worship and other religious organizations in the properties we manage,” the company said in a press release, which also noted that the company will not tolerate “tenants who advocate hatred and the taking of innocent lives.”

Sadly, the lease doesn’t expire until next March, so Jimenez and his church might be able to stay in the building for several more months. That said, Harsch Investment Properties has made it very clear that Verity Baptist Church is not welcome on their property.

No, dumbass, just a normal human reaction to your vile message of hate , pain and harm on fellow human beings. Christ himself would probably slap the shit out of you.

All they have to do is ask a Judge to evict him solely on the threat to their building that his "church" presence now represents.

When you consider the types of nuisance businesses that are hard to evict, then it takes a lot more than a hypothetical threat as a basis for eviction.

What I would do is to make sure that, as a tenant, they are scrupulously compliant with the terms of the lease.

All that has to happen is the insurance company threaten to cancel their insurance as long as that tenant remains.

It will be the insurance company that denies coverage if someone burns down the building because of the ass.

And that's pretty sad. That it's not because of concern about the hateful message, but rather the possibility of a financial loss if something happens to the building.
