Will Ryan be held to the same standard as TIP O'Neil was over the video feed?

The late Soeaker Tip O'Neil took a lot of heat in the 1980's for showing Newt Gingrich speaking to an empty House chamber as he "invited" an absent Democrat to respond. Today, Paul Ryan cut the feed altogether. Where is the outcry?

According the live C-Span feed, the rules (now) permit the Speaker to impose a media blackout when the House is not in session.

So...ending session enabled the coward and his fellow NRA shills to seek the cover of media blackout--or so he thought. Gross miscalculation!

By virtue of his ideological rigidity and attempt to use rule for the purpose of obstruction, Ryan has lost control.

The "People's House" is now in the hands of those who represent the views of the vast majority of the people.
