As House Democrats conducted a sit-in all day Wednesday to demand legislative action on gun violence, many of their Senate colleagues headed over to the other side of the Capitol to lend their support.
And as the day wore on, they made sure the tired representatives didnt go hungry.

(26,260 posts)2. My senator (Gary Peters) should have donated Vernors and Kogels w/Flint Coney Sauce! Not Pop Tarts!
Maybe some Faygo. I refuse to believe that ANYONE from Michigan doesn't keep an emergency supply of all of those traditional Michigan food items, on hand. Ok, maybe some keep Detroit style coney sauce. I'm open minded about such things.
