8. You appear to be confusing controlling the Senate with "having a filibuster proof majority"

in the Senate. Democrats controlled (i.e. had a majority in) the Senate & House for 2 years
after Obama was elected. As to the filibuster the Democrats could have changed that rule
at any time had they wanted to. The OP just mentioned "winning" the Senate & House, nothing
about a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate.

... right now to the country is the digitally and overt gerrymandering for GOP.

They have more reps in the house than the have voters and are INORDINATELY over represented in the house.
